About NLP

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming, it was co-founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. It has been used for many years bringing about profound changes in people.  NLP is a set of techniques used for understanding the ways in which people interact with one another and use their minds.

NLP can be understood as the way we experience the world through our neurology (Neuro) and the way we communicate (Linguistic), which enables us to change our habitual ways of thinking and communicating (Programming).

A person who has inhibiting beliefs and habits is not broken, they are just running programmes which are not useful to them. NLP techniques are used in such a way that these beliefs and habits can be changed, enabling a person to think and act in more useful ways for them, giving people freedom of choice.

NLP is an attitude…..the sense of curiosity and adventure to learn new things. Finding out about how communication influences yourself and how to influence others.

NLP is a methodology…….based on the presupposition that all behaviour has a structure and structures can be learned, taught, modelled and changed. If you have a belief that something works, or you see something in another person that works, that behaviour can be modelled for your use. Also limiting beliefs can be re-programmed to become useful.

NLP has evolved as an innovative technology, enabling practitioners to organise information and perceptions to achieve results that were once inconceivable.

NLP Sunshine Coast uses a range of techniques to give clients a chance to look at their map of the world and to come up with a range of choices which are more useful to them.  These techniques can be applied to change work, stress relief, phobia cures, weight loss, stop smoking, sports enhancement, and performance coaching.

We work directly with people to enable them to be happy with themselves, giving them the freedom of choice to go for what they want in their life.

We are trained NLP Master Practitioners and have completed courses in NLP and hypnosis.
